Dr. Amit Sharma is a Chandigarh-based entrepreneur and mentor with over 28 years of experience in agribusiness, direct selling, financial services, and capacity building. He holds an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics and a B.Sc. in Horticulture. He began his career in equipment sales in 1999 and went on to sales and leadership roles with Bayer Crop Science, IFFCO Kissan Sanchar, ICICI Prudential, Birla Sun Life, Aegon Religare, and Exide Life. Since 2000 he has also built and mentored a large direct selling network with Amway India.
In 2020 he founded AGIFT, a coaching, training, and mentorship venture. It supports entrepreneurs, youth, and professionals through structured programs in agribusiness, financial literacy, and sustainable business practices.
